‘The team is always most important’ Man Utd boss Erik ten Haag explains to club legends Paul Scholes and Rio Ferdinand why Casemiro does NOT start in Southampton clash he sticks with the same side that defeated Liverpool

Erik ten Hag has stated that his Manchester United team is more important than any individual ahead of today's clash against Southampton.

The Dutchman has resisted the urge to start new £70million signing Casemiro and also left Cristiano Ronaldo on the bench once again, as he sticks to the same team that beat Liverpool on Monday night.

Speaking before the game to BT Sport pundits Rio Ferdinand, Paul Scholes and Peter Crouch, Ten Haag commented on how he puts the team first ahead of the individual stars at Old Trafford.
