Southampton's FA Cup tie with Shrewsbury is in doubt after the League One club confirmed a number of positive Covid-19 cases among their players and staff.
Steve Cotterill's side were due to travel to St Mary's for the third round tie on Saturday.
However discussions are now taking place over whether the game can go ahead after Shrewsbury's test results revealed an outbreak at the club.
Shrewsbury Town took Liverpool to a replay last season but their FA Cup adventure could be curtailed by a Covid-19 outbreak this time around
Shrewsbury have contacted the FA and if they feel they cannot fulfil the fixture the situation will be reviewed by The FA's Professional Game Board.
