Southampton have received reassurances they will have no supply issues after their kit manufacturers’ UK distributor went into administration.
Fellow Hummel-sponsored side, Bristol City, brought a premature end to their six-year agreement with the Danish sportswear company last week after distributor Elite Sports Group hit financial trouble at the back end of last year.
That caused stock issues, including concerns about whether there would be enough kits available for players, which prompted the Championship side to terminate their Hummel deal, agree a new partnership with Irish firm O’Neills and start playing in what was due to be next season’s kit now.
