Southampton are keen on a move for Harry Winks, who along with Giovani Lo Celso and Tanguy Ndombele has been left out of Tottenham’s tour to South Korea.
Lo Celso could also be in line for a return to Villarreal, where he was on loan last season.
He helped Unai Emery's men into the semi-finals of the Champions League, and having impressed in LaLiga, Villarreal may look to bring Lo Celso back to the club for another spell in Spain.
Meanwhile, Winks started just nine top-flight matches for Spurs last term as Antonio Conte preferred a midfield pairing of Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Rodrigo Bentancur in the second half of the campaign.
