Southampton will cap away ticket prices at £20 this season after striking a deal with their shirt sponsor.
Visiting fans will benefit from the subsidised prices after Virgin Media agreed to bear the brunt of the costs for the whole of the 2016-17 campaign.
Premier League clubs had already announced a blanket maximum charge of £30 for travelling supporters following protests in the stands at the rising cost of watching football in recent seasons.
However, Southampton have gone one step further and the Saints have fallen in line with the Football Supporters' Federation's 'Twenty's Plenty' campaign, which called for a £20 cap.
