Relegation pole sitters Southampton are hoping that that addition of United States striker Haji Wright will be just what they need to stay in the Premier League.

With the relegation battle as tight as ever, Southampton are in need of goals and they hope the Antalyaspor man could be exactly what's required to stay up.

The Saints have offered $8.6million (£6.95m) for the 24-year-old striker's services, which is short of Antalyaspor's asking price of around $11m (£8.89m), according to Turkish outlet ajansspor (via NBC's Joe Prince-Wright).
