Southampton assistant manager Eric Black is the latest figure to become embroiled in alleged mass corruption in football.
The club released a statement on Thursday night indicating they had been contacted by the Daily Telegraph as part of their on-going investigation into wrong-doing in the game and were told that Black would feature in their next story.
Black has been filmed by the Telegraph allegedly advising their undercover reporters posing as businessmen how to bribe lower league staff.
Southampton have contacted the Football Association and the Premier League and will work closely with them to resolve the issue, but were waiting to receive all the information on the matter.
