Southampton ace James Ward-Prowse playing the best football of his career

Southampton left it late but eventually came from behind to claim their first home win since January by beating rejuvenated Crystal Palace 3-1 on Wednesday.

Saints looked to be heading for defeat when Christian Benteke gave Palace the lead but hit back through Nathan Redmond's controversial equaliser just before half time. Palace boss Sam Allardyce was convinced there was a foul by Steven Davis on Wilfried Zaha in the build up to Redmond's goal, but his protests were waved away.

Two goals in the last six minutes from Maya Yoshida and James Ward-Prowse ensured Claude Puel's men stole the points late on.
