Southampton recovered from going a goal down to avoid an FA Cup embarrassment at home to Coventry as they beat the Championship side in extra time following a 1-1 draw after 90 minutes.
Kyle Walker-Peters netted in the 112th minute after the Saints had gone behind in the first half.
The visitors took a shock lead midway through the first period after some delightful one-touch football put Viktor Gyokeres in the clear, and he swept the ball past Willy Caballero. Coventry had further chances to extend their lead, but were wasteful in front of goal during a dominant first half performance.
