Brighton have moved three points clear of the relegation zone after hanging on for a crucial victory at struggling Southampton.
Lewis Dunk's powerful first-half header handed the visitors the lead early on, before Che Adams' strike at the far post hauled them back.
With the crunch clash balanced on a knife-edge, Leandro Trossard was teed up well by Danny Welbeck. The playmaker did the rest, smashing into the top corner.
