Swansea City have rejected a bid for defender Nathan Wood, according to head coach Michael Duff.
The 21-year-old has been linked with Southampton and a reunion with former Swans boss Russell Martin.
Martin has previously said that Wood is a "real leader" and has the ability to go to the "very top" of the game.
"I think there's a bid that got rejected," said Duff, who would not confirm if the offer was from Championship rivals Saints.
"It's a sign of having good players. If no-one was bidding for any of the players, we'd be useless.
