Casemiro was shown a straight red card as Manchester United were held to a goalless draw by Southampton in a thrilling match at Old Trafford.
The Brazilian midfielder was initially shown a yellow card following a lunge on Carlos Alcaraz, but referee Anthony Taylor upgraded the decision to a red following a VAR review.
Casemiro's first half dismissal led to an end-to-end second half which saw both sides strike the woodwork.
