Ralph Hassenhuttl admitted his side's form is 'scary' after his Southampton side completed a stunning rise to the top of the Premier League table.
The Saints cruised through Newcastle 2-0 on Friday with Che Adams and Stuart Armstrong providing the goals in star striker Danny Ings' absence, shooting into the first division lead for the first time since 1988.
The feat comes a little over a year since Southampton were humiliated 9-0 by Leicester under Hassenbuttl, with the Austrian completing an incredible turnaround.
