‘I'd do it... but it coincides with Cheltenham!’: Harry Redknapp laughs off the prospect of becoming Leeds' new boss - claiming he’d have 'NO chance' of landing the job - but jokes he would keep them up even if they didn't pay him

Harry Redknapp has rubbished claims he's set to come out of retirement to become the new manager of Leeds United.

Leeds have been searching for a new boss since sacking Jesse Marsch last week, but have come unstuck in finding a suitable replacement for the American.

The club have been rebuffed in their attempts to entice Andoni Iraola, Arne Slot and Carlos Corberan to Elland Road, and yesterday were linked with a move to bring Harry Redknapp out of retirement on a relegation rescue mission.

The 75-year-old hasn't held a managerial post since taking charge of Birmingham in 2017, but has a wealth of top flight experience as manager of West Ham, Portsmouth, Southampton, Tottenham and QPR.
