Manchester United midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan was forced off with an early injury in the club's Europa League tie with St Etienne on Wednesday.

After opening the scoring in France to put United 4-0 up on aggregate, Mkhitaryan had to come off injured just nine minutes later ahead of the club's crucial EFL Cup final with Southampton on Sunday.

The Armenian has played a crucial part in United's upturn in form recently, helping the club put the pressure on the top four in the Premier League.
