Southampton manager Ralph Hasenhuttl has described the European Super League as 'a big threat' and warned of 'war' with the clubs involved.
The Premier League's 'Big Six', Manchester United, Manchester City, Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham, have signed up for the European Super League along with leading clubs from Spain and Italy.
Hasenhuttl is staunchly opposed to the Super League and and stressed that the Premier League clubs who aren't involved in the proposals will 'have to fight against it'.
Hasenhuttl said: 'There cannot be any other opinion about it.
