Manchester United will be reunited with Robin van Persie in the Europa League group stage while Southampton were handed tricky matches in Friday's draw.
United, who finished fifth in the Premier League last season, will come up against Van Persie's Fenerbahce along with Feyenoord and Zorya Luhansk.
The only other English club in the pot were the Saints, who will be playing in the competition for a second successive season - and they will face Inter Milan, Sparta Prague and Hapoel Be'er Sheva.
