Eight things we learnt in the Premier League this weekend

The Foxes were magnificent last season but, Champions League form aside, are barely out of first gear domestically. Riyad Mahrez and Jamie Vardy look nothing like the players who terrorised teams last year and their midfield, without the superb Ngolo Kante, looks very weak. They sit just two points outside the drop zone currently, making their next game against Sunderland a must-win.

Being in the Europa League means your squad is tested to its limits, but the Saints are doing ok, mainly thanks to them being able to blood more of their youngsters. Sam McQueen was at Southend United on loan last year but now finds himself a regular, while Josh Sims made his debut on Sunday against Everton.
