N’Jie has really kicked into gear since making his loan deal with Marseille a permanent move over the summer. Signed by Spurs in the summer of 2015, N’Jie’s time in north London was a failure – though a medial ligament injury didn’t help the winger to adapt to England. The 24-year-old managed to make just 14 appearances in all competitions for the Lilywhites, failing to score and registering only one assist. He spent last term at Marseille and played a steady season (four goals, one assist), but has burst to life in 2017/18 having signed permanently for l’OM over the summer.
