Charlie Austin will miss Southampton's Premier League clash against Middlesbrough after injuring his shoulder during Thursday's Europa League defeat by Hapoel Be'er Sheva.
The striker had to be substituted during the first half and manager Claude Puel admits Austin may have dislocated his shoulder.
Saints' ignominious European exit was compounded by injury to their nine-goal leading scorer.
Puel admitted Austin will miss the weekend's game at St Mary's but remained unsure how long the 27-year-old will be sidelined.
