Celtic are keen to keep Fraser Forster as Southampton mull over loaning the goalkeeper out for another season

Southampton will consider loaning out Fraser Forster for another season when Celtic make their approach this week.

The Scottish champions want the 6ft 7ins goalkeeper to help deliver a tenth title in a row and will also look to re-sign Forster's Southampton club mate Mohamed Elyounoussi.

Like Forster, the Norway international winger spent last season on loan at Celtic too and his inclusion in the deal could see Celtic midfielder Olivier Ntcham join Southampton.

Celtic believe Fraser Forster can help them in their quest for a tenth successive league title

The south coast club expect to lose Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Mario Lemina this summer and former Manchester City midfielder Ntcham, 24, is among their targets.
