Non-league AFC Totton had a bumper crowd for their cup win over Folland Sports after offering free tickets to Preston fans who travelled to Hampshire for their postponed Championship game.
Southampton v Preston was called off after a large fire broke out near St Mary's Stadium on matchday.
Seventh-tier Totton gave an alternative for Lilywhites supporters wanting to avoid a wasted 490-mile round trip.
About 60 Preston fans arrived at Snows Stadium to cheers on the Stags.
"We went on to all our social media channels and directly contacted the football club for all of those travelling fans," Totton chief executive Steve Brookwell said.
