TAMPA (Feb. 13, 2017) – After a stellar opening weekend that saw USF go 3-1, Kristen Wyckoff earned the first weekly American Athletic Conference Player of the Week honor for 2017.
Wyckoff, who spent the weekend batting in the nine-spot, finished with a .600 average after going 6-for-10 at the plate. The senior also recorded a .600 slugging percentage and .636 on-base-percentage.
Wyckoff scored three runs over the weekend, including the winning run against Delaware and the tying run against No. 6 Michigan. Against Delaware, she went 2-for-2, scoring on an RBI double from Mia Fung.
