TAMPA, FEB. 11, 2016 – The University of South Florida’s senior standout Courtney Williams (Folkston, Ga.) has been named to the Naismith Trophy Women’s College Player of the Year Midseason 30.
Williams recently became the second member of USF’s 2,000-point club and will first to reach 2,000 points, 900 rebounds and 300 assists. Williams is currently ranked 11th in Division I and currently leads No. 20 USF with 21.7 points per game. Williams has scored 20-plus points in eight of her past 10 outings, including 31 points at Tulane Jan.
