TAMPA, DEC. 14, 2015 – The University of South Florida’s Courtney Williams has been named to the American Athletic Conference Weekly Honor Roll for the third time this season, the league office announced Monday.
Williams has been honored on the weekly list 17 times over the past two seasons. The Georgia native was joined by Morgan Tuck (UConn), Serithia Hawkins (Houston), Cheyenne Creighton (Memphis) and Alicia Froling (SMU). Temple’s Alliya Butts was the league’s Player of the Week and UConn’s Napheesa Collier was named Freshman of the Week.
In the Bulls lone contest last week, Williams led USF to a 61-33 victory over Chattanooga, which ranks tenth in the NCAA Ratings Percentage Index (RPI).
