Williams posted her second consecutive double-double Monday morning, racking up 10 rebounds and grabbing 15 second-half points after a scoreless first half to help lift Team USA past Canada in the championship of the World University Games.
Williams dropped eight of her 15 points in the third quarter, hitting a pair of free throws late in the third to extend the United States' lead to three heading into the final period. Williams then scored five of Team USA's first nine points in the fourth, helping the United States pull out an 82-63 win.
Over six games in which Team USA went undefeated, Williams averaged 11.
