TAMPA, Fla. (June 7, 2024) – Head Coach Amir Abdur-Rahim and the University of South Florida men's basketball program announced the promotions of Joi Williams, Ben Fletcher, and Griffin McHone on Friday.
Joi Williams – Chief of Staff/General Manager
Williams, a USF graduate, finished her first season back on campus as the chief of staff. She has been elevated to chief of staff/general manager. Before her return to South Florida, Williams was the assistant athletic director for women's basketball at Mississippi State. She played for the Bulls from 1984-89 and brought over 20 years of head coaching experience in her return to Tampa.
