TAMPA, APRIL 2, 2016 – Since Courtney Williams committed to the University of South Florida approximately five years ago, the program has propelled into the national spotlight. Along with Williams, the Bulls have experienced many firsts: the programs first Top-25 ranking, its first NCAA Tournament Second Round appearance, its first trip to a conference Championship Game, and now the programs first true All-American. The Women’s Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) announced its 10-member All-America list Saturday, and Williams joined the nations best on the coveted team.
Williams (Folkston, Ga.) a two-time WBCA Region 3 honoree and WBCA All-America Honorable Mention, makes her first appearance on an All-America team after leading the Bulls back to the NCAA Tournament for the third time in four years.
