IRVING, Texas, March 24, 2025 – The University of South Florida softball team swept the American Athletic Conference Player and Pitcher of the Week for the second straight week on Monday. Payton Dixon earned her second straight Pitcher of the Week, while Alex Wilkes was named the AAC Player of the Week.
Wilkes, the sophomore utility player, wreaked havoc on opposing pitchers last week. She was 7-for-15 at the plate for a batting average of .467. She drove in a team-high nine RBIs. She belted two home runs and had a double to go along with a slugging percentage of .
