The principal of West Boca Raton High will likely be suspended for 10 days, after he passed off as his own large parts of graduation speeches written by others.
Mark Stenner has been on paid leave since June 11. Instead of taking additional days off, the district would deduct 10 days of pay from his next check, according to the agreement, which the School Board plans to discuss Wednesday.
Stenner gave a talk this year incorporating verbatim chunks from a 2012 speech given by an English teacher in Massachusetts, a district video shows. It contained several verbatim passages from the "you are not special" speech by David McCullough Jr.
