Trailing 2-0 batting in the eighth, the USF Bulls rallied for three runs in the final two innings on their way to a 3-2 walk-off win over the UConn Huskies in the rubber match on Sunday afternoon at the USF Baseball Stadium. It’s the Bulls’ first conference series win of the season and first over UConn since 2015.
“It shows the resiliency of our team. We’re never out of a game and preach that all the time with the offense that we have and all the leaders,” head coach Billy Mohl said. “Those guys do what they’ve been doing, continue to battle and we ended up on the right side today.
