Behind a late-inning comeback, the USF baseball team finished off a perfect 8-0 homestand and a three-game sweep of Army with a 5-4 walk-off win over the Black Knights on Sunday afternoon at the USF Baseball Stadium.
“It was great. We are in a good spot right now,” head coach Billy Mohl said. “Guys are playing with a lot of confidence right now, they are feeling good about themselves...but the real season starts next Friday and we’re looking forward to the challenge.”
The Bulls (15-6) opened the scoring in the second inning on back-to-back RBI doubles from junior catcher Tyler Dietrich and shortstop Coco Montes to make it 3-0.
