SAN ANTONIO, Texas, Sept. 6, 2019 – Senior striker (Canada) used a school-record tying four goals, along with teammate (Land O Lakes, Fla.) penalty kick, to power the No. 17 Bulls past Rice (receiving votes) in a 5-1 dominating victory in San Antonio on Friday night.
The Bulls (3-1) had not seen action in over a week due to a cancelled game from the effects of Hurricane Dorian, entered halftime with a 1-0 lead.Viens scored her first goal on an assist from (Iceland) in the 29minute, giving USF a slight edge at the break.
Rice (2-2) evened the score in the 51minute, with Delaney Schultz converting on a corner kick.
