PROVIDENCE, R.I., Sept. 9, 2019 – Evelyne Viens earned her first American Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week nod, The American announced Monday. Viens (Quebec, Canada) had a record-breaking weekend, knocking down or tying three program records at the UTSA Tournament.
Viens started her weekend against Rice, finding the back of the net four times during the game. Her double-brace, the second of her career, tied the USF record for most goals in a game. She previously tied the same record last season with four goals against Florida College in an 11-0 victory.
