TALLAHASSEE, Fla., Nov. 11, 2016 – Sophomore Jessica Taylor finished 25th at the NCAA South Region Cross Country Championships Friday morning in Tallahassee, Fla., to earn NCAA All-Region honors.
Needing to finish in the top 25 to earn a medal for all-region, the St. Johns, Fla., native passed seven runners in the final kilometer to finish 0.6 seconds ahead of Hannah Waggoner of Alabama. Taylor’s time of 20:54.1 was the fastest 6K time of her career.
