For the third year in a row, Selection Monday will be devoid of tension for Bulls women's coach Jose Fernandez. As sure as the Sun Dome's round, Fernandez's team is in the NCAA Tournament.
But it's the Bulls' seeding that could have him fidgeting.
Currently, ESPN's Charlie Creme -- the Joe Lunardi of women's bracketology -- has USF as a No. 9 seed in the Lexington, Ky., regional. As an eight- or nine-seed, a best-case scenario would be a second-round contest against a No. 1 seed (Notre Dame in Creme's projections).
And Fernandez thinks his team's resume -- 24-8 record, top-30 RPI -- warrants a more attractive bracket line.
