USF (24-8) was selected as an at-large in the NCAA Tournament as a No. 9 seed in the Greensboro Regional. The Bulls will face No. 8 seed Miami (FL) in Columbia, S.C. on Friday. It’s the seventh time in 10 years that the Bulls have made the NCAA Tournament, and it’s the second consecutive year USF has made the Big Dance. Last season, they made it to the round-of-32 after a win vs. Washington State and a loss to North Carolina State.
“I’m really, really excited for them,” head coach Jose Fernandez said “A lot of people would love to be in the tournament.
