Five Bulls finished in double figures, including three with 20-plus points as the USF women’s basketball team blew out Vermont 102-55 for a fifth straight victory on Monday night at the Yuengling Center to improve to 9-2 on the season.
“We got off to a really good start tonight...we almost played as perfect a first half as you can play,” head coach Jose Fernandez said. “We shared the ball, played unselfish and made the extra pass.”
Fueled by junior Alyssa Rader, the Bulls ended the first quarter on a 25-2 run to take a commanding 28-7 lead.
