Hudson, a Tampa native that graduated from Plant High School, transferred to USF from the University of Wisconsin and will sit out the 2015 season under NCAA transfer rules. He will have three years of eligibility remaining after playing last season as a true-freshman for the Badgers. Hudson is currently enrolled in summer session classes at USF and has begun workouts with the team.
The 6-2, 205-pound Hudson was a January enrollee at Wisconsin and quickly earned playing time in his freshman campaign. He saw action in all 14 games, primarily on special teams, and recorded 19 tackles, one sack and one forced fumble for the Badgers.
