TAMPA, FLA., March 6, 2023 – Bulls take fifth place out of six teams in a highly competitive round-robin style race. The field consisted of three teams ranked in the top 15 nationally, including (5) Stanford, (7) Coast Guard, and the host team (14) Charleston. Conditions were perfect with 8-15 knot winds all weekend.
The Bulls finished the weekend with a 4-11 record, beating out Jacksonville University who completed at 2-13. Stanford took honors in the competition with a perfect 15-0 record for the weekend.
The team lineup consisted of seniors Olivia Smith and Sydney Monahan, juniors Emma Shakespeare and Jewel Kelly, and sophomores Heidi Hicks, Kay Brunsvold, Janie Powell, and Ochithya Fernando.
