USF Sailing Achieves Top 20 Ranking

The Bulls will compete next in the SAISA South Points regatta on Saturday and Sunday

TAMPA, Oct. 13, 2016 – The University of South Florida sailing program made its first appearance in the national rankings this season when the Bulls were selected No. 20 in the Sailing World Women’s College Rankings, presented by Zim Sailing and Gill.

The coaches poll, which was released on Wednesday, includes Yale, Coast Guard, Brown, Boston College and Rhode Island, who make up the top five.

USF edged out Bowdoin, Cornell, Fordham, Roger Williams, UC Santa Barbara and Wisconsin for the final spot in the rankings.
