USF announced Friday it is providing 500 free tickets to service members at MacDill Air Force Base for each of the Bulls' last two home games, including Saturday's "Salute to Service" contest against Houston.
Aiding the gesture were funds from season-ticket holders who diverted their refunds from the rescheduled Massachusetts game (due to Hurricane Irma). USF will recognize first responders and military service members Saturday.
The Bulls will wear special all-green uniforms based on a camouflage pattern of World War II-era aircraft stationed at Henderson Air Field, which previously occupied the site of the USF campus.
USF also is offering $15 tickets for all bay area government employs (city or county).
