TAMPA, Fla. (January 30, 2024) – The University of South Florida men's basketball team hits the road for an American Athletic Conference battle with East Carolina on Wednesday, January 31. The Bulls (13-4, 6-1 AAC) and the Pirates (11-10, 4-4 AAC) are slated for a 7 p.m. tip on ESPN+.
The 13-5 start is the best since the Bulls opened the season with a 13-5 mark for the 2001-02 campaign. It is just the sixth time in program history that USF has started 13-5 or better. The best starts in program history came during the 1980-81 and the 1982-83 seasons, where South Florida started 14-4.
