We’re a little over 48 hours from USF Football’s 2018 kickoff vs. Elon on Saturday so we’ll use this day to highlight the final batch of incoming true freshman on the Green and Gold roster.
QB Jordan McCloud - Freshman, 6’0”, 180 pounds
How he came to USF: The hometown product was the final kid to pledge himself to USF during that ridiculous recruiting weekend in 2017 where 13 prospects verbally committed in five days. The younger brother of former Clemson and current Buffalo Bills rookie wide receiver Ray Ray McCloud, Jordan led Tampa Plant all the way to the Class 7A semifinals as a senior, posting a stat line of 2,426 yards passing, 389 yards rushing, and 32 total touchdowns.
