South Florida Bulls VP of Athletics Michael Kelly announced today a two-year extension for football head coach Jeff Scott through the 2026 season.
Scott is 3-18 in two seasons with the Bulls, but has been instrumental in the construction of the USF Football Facility, including the Indoor Performance Facility which is scheduled to be ready for fall camp this season.
While the results on the field have been poor (putting it nicely), Scott has drastically improved the culture around the program since getting to Tampa, and has been rewarded for having to deal with the fallout of the Charlie Strong era.
