Not only does USF Football head coach Charlie Strong have to prepare his 9-2 team for the Birmingham Bowl on Saturday, he has to sit and wait for a fax from an 18-year-old high school senior telling the coach that all the calls, texts and in-home visits were worth it and he’ll be a Bull in the fall (or spring).
As Nick pointed out in his recruiting primer Sunday, the Bulls are expected to get no fewer than six signee’s over the course of the three day window beginning tomorrow and ending Friday.
“I don’t know exactly the number we’re gonna sign but we’re gonna get us a good group,” Strong said Monday.
