TAMPA (Oct. 18, 2019) – The University of South Florida men's soccer team nearly outshot Temple two-to-one on the night, and held a 6-4 advantage in shots on goal, however, the Owls led in the one category that mattered as Temple handed the Bulls a 3-1 loss in Philadelphia on Friday night. USF drops to 8-4* on the year and 2-2* in conference play. The Owls improve to 5-6-1 overall and 2-1-1 in the AAC.
Esteban Suarez got the scoring started, getting the Owls on the board first, converting off a corner kick in the 32nd minute to give Temple a 1-0 lead, a margin that would hold as both teams entered the intermission.
