ORLANDO, Fla., JAN. 6, 2016 – Senior center Jaleel Cousins recorded his sixth double-double of the season on Saturday in USF’s 75-64 loss to UCF at CFE Arena.
The Mobile, Ala. native scored 19 points on 7-of-10 shooting and added 13 rebounds including six on the offensive end. It was perhaps the most impressive performance of his career when considering the size of the Knights frontcourt which included 7-foot-6 center Tacko Fall and 6-10, 325-pound center Justin McBride.
“A lot of it was him getting offensive rebounds and second and third efforts,” said USF head coach Orlando Antigua.
