NORMAN, Okla., March 24, 2019 – Men's tennis fell to No. 20 Oklahoma Sunday afternoon, 7-0, in the Bulls' second Top 20 challenge of the season.
USF (13-6, 3-0) defaulted the third doubles court and sixth singles court due to injuries and illness, giving Oklahoma (13-5) an early lead. The Sooners won on court two, 6-3, to secure the doubles point.
The Sooners led 2-0 to start singles and No. 88 Jake Van Emburgh defeated Chase Ferguson (Melbourne, Australia) on the second court, 6-3, 6-0. Oklahoma clinched the match, 6-4, 6-1, against Sergio Gomez Montesa (Valencia, Spain) on court four.
