NEW ORLEANS, La. (April 12, 2024) – The University of South Florida Bulls (20-14, 6-4 AAC) had their four-game winning streak snapped on Friday night in an 11-3 setback at Tulane University (19-15, 4-6 AAC) in the opener of a three-game series against the Green Wave.
The South Florida pitching staff issued 13 walks and hit four batters in the game, including three with the bases loaded, after surrendering just five total over their previous four outings. Tulane's staff only walked one USF batter.
A four-run second inning for the Green Wave against Hunter Mink (Palm Harbor) was the biggest blow of the ballgame.
